What is “Dashi”(Japanese fon), which is the source of “Umami” so that understanding “Dashi” is the most important, essential element to cook Japanese foods.

What is the unique ingredients in Japan such as Miso, shoyu(Soy sauce) and Mirin.

What are the seasonal ingredients in Japan.

How to cook rice even without rice cooker.

How to use these ingredients and how to cook Japanese seasonal and fresh dishes.

Menu: 1 main dish, 1 side dish, miso soup, and rice.

Numbers of participants:  Max Participants: 6.
We cannot guarantee the private class. The others may join in the same class with you.

Location: We have two locations, but both are at Japanese home in the midtown Tokyo.

Time: Mainly lunch time, 3-4 hours

Price: 8,000 yen per participants

Cancel policy: If you cancel 1week-72 hours prior to the scheduled class, you will receive a 50% refund. No-shows and cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class will not receive a refund.

Notes:

Considering other participants, please refrain from taking the class if you get any infection disease such as coughing, sneezing and having a fever.

Child under 4 is not allowed to attend a class.

We cannot guarantee the private class. The others may join in the same class with you.

Please refer to the menu carefully if you have any allergy and a religious dietary restrictions. We cannot offer substituted menu.

When we need to cancel the class because of the very urgent matter of the instructors, we will notice you via email and refund the class fees as soon as possible.
